Laura Cox

 

Laura trained in stage management and technical theatre at the Guildford School of Acting and graduated in 2003. She immediately became a resident technician at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts before moving on to work as an Assistant Stage Manager at the Nuffield in Southampton. Shortly after, she became resident at Theatre Royal Winchester, working with hundreds of UK and international touring companies as well as being part of three in-house shows produced by the theatre.

 

After three years she went freelance, and recent credits include the lighting design for Lilly Through the Dark for the Edinburgh international festival and total theatre award winning company, The River People. She has also toured with Wet Picnic Theatre Company, worked with the University of Winchester, toured with Big Wooden Horse and taken on various strange and interesting jobs in between.

 

Laura has worked with Blackeyed Theatre on A Christmas Carol and The Cherry Orchard as Company Stage Manager, Peter Pan as Production Assistant, and in 2010 Alfie as lighting designer.
