Courtney Spence

Courtney trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He had worked extensively in many of the top repertory companies in the UK including The Bristol Old Vic and The Crucible in Sheffield. For four years of his career Courtney appeared as Pooh and Mole in two number one tours of ‘Winnie the Pooh’ and the ‘Wind in the Willows’ both ending with seasons in the West End.

Being a versatile character actor he has played many different roles as diverse as Macbeth to Reverend Collins in Pride and Prejudice. Courtney has also appeared in many commercials both here and aboard along with the occasional appearance on the box.

He is very pleased to be joining the Blackeyed Theatre and is really looking forward to getting back to some real honest touring!
