Gillian Allbone

 

Gillian originally trained as a ballet dancer and is a qualified ballet teacher.  She has worked as performer, choreographer and recently director in theatres around the country.  

 

Gillian has been performing on stage for twenty years and some favourite past credits include: Louise - Carousel (national tour), Eliza - The King and I (Alhambra Theatre), Romeo and Juliet (Alhambra Theatre), Shelby - Steel Magnolias (Pinewood Theatre and South Hill Park), Nancy – When We Are Married (Bingley Little Theatre), Trish – Falling Short (Bingley Little Theatre) and Mary McGinty – Once a Catholic (Binley Little Theatre).

 

Gillian has choreographed for local societies both locally and throughout Yorkshire.  Past Credits include: Anything Goes, The King and I, Carousel, Spend Spend Spend, By Jeeves and an original danceworks Buttercup’s Secret.Gillian is currently directing A Swell Party: A Celebration of Cole Porter for EBOS and next year will be choreographing Thoroughly Modern Millie also for EBOS. In 2008 she choreographed for Oh What A Lovely War.
