Alison George
Alison graduated from Nottingham University with a BA (Hons) in music (with her principal instrument the cello) before completing a post-graduate Diploma in Acting and Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Alison is an experienced actor/musician and is excited to be working on her first Greek Tragedy with Blackeyed Theatre. Previous theatre credits include Alice in Unruly Women, Cat/Lena in Voices, Kitty in two national tours of Pride & Prejudice, Sue in Joe’s Jukebox Diner, Alison in Dark and Dirty, Queen Henrietta Maria in The Silk Handkerchief, Enid/Court Clerk in The Wind in the Willows, Faye Bourne-Arton in Murder Two Night, Laura Lawrence in A Clinical Finish, Prince Charming in Cinderella, Jill in Jack and the Beanstalk, Judith/Mary Magdalene in Blinded by the Light, and The Vagina Monologues. Alison has just finished playing The Wicked Witch over Christmas in The Wonderful World of Oz.
