Austin Carruthers

 

Austin has been a member of ITV Workshop for six years, with whom he has taken a number of roles, including  Ariel in The Pillowman by Martin MacDonaugh. He most recently appeared in the Nottingham Playhouse touring production, Booty Call. Other productions include Fame, Alfie and United States. He takes pride in having performed in front of the Queen at Pride Park Stadium at the tender age of 16.Austin wrote his first song at the age of 12 - Everybody in the House, which he went on to perform at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham for the well known charity Wish Upon A Star.

 

Eight years later, he still composes music, writes songs, sings, raps, dances and of course acts! On top of this he is also the Director of a fashion label focused on the world cup, www.lads-army.com. Austin is currently working with Tone Def Productions on his music material.
