Johannah Jolson

Johannah most recently appeared as Conchita in Barry Manilow's smash-hit musical, Copacabana.  Prior to this, she could be seen performing the role of Scentwell in extracts from The Busybody at Chawton House, Surrey.  Other credits over the last year include Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, Paulina in The Winter's Tale, and Joan in Audience. Johannah created the role of Lady Land and also choreographed for Blow 'em Away! The Musical, which premiered at the Camden Fringe Festival 2007.  Look out for her in a 1940s style musical comedy evening, coming to a London venue this January.

Johannah is in her third and final year at the Guildford School of Acting on the Musical Theatre course.  She is thrilled to have been let loose into the "real world" to be part of A Christmas Carol, having not been involved in a Christmas show since 1999!  In her spare time, Johannah teaches singing to students of all ages and abilities, which she has done for over five years.  She lives in Surrey and is currently learning Italian!
