
Biography
Tom grew up in Wokingham in Berkshire and spent his early years performing with community drama and music groups.
He trained in Music with Theatre Studies at the University of Huddersfield, majoring in music composition, and entered employment as an arts professional upon graduation in 2002.
He now works throughout the United Kingdom as an actor, music composer and theatre director.
His work as an actor includes Blackeyed Theatre’s acclaimed national tours of Oh
What A Lovely War, The Cherry Orchard and The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui; pioneering

His media work includes BBC’s Nelson’s Trafalgar, ITV’s The Bill and a voiceover for Channel 4’s Zoogleburst.
As a composer his works include Isis for the String Quartet of Opera North; full length musical Avalon for Artemis Studios; new incidental music to Henry V for South Hill Park; and several orchestrations, including Oh What A Lovely War.
Tom has directed large cast work, such as The Tempest and small ensemble work, such as Three Men In A Boat. He is proud to have directed South Hill Park’s 25th Anniversary production The Importance of Being Oscar.
Tom lives in Bracknell in Berkshire.
